Administrative Officer DEPARTMENT OF THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY 0.6 FTE, ongoing opportunity About the role As the Administrative Officer in the Procedure Office, you play an important role in maintaining smooth operations within the office as well as the wider Department. In this role you will assist with maintaining key databases, prepare Legislative Assembly documents including the notice paper, bills status and documents lists and provide general administrative support to the office and senior management as required. As the Procedure Office plays a key role in the operations of a sitting week you may be required to work long and unpredictable hours during the sittings of the House. This includes starting at 8.00 am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and working until approximately 8.00 pm on some Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Sitting hours can sometimes be unpredictable and on occasions you may be required to work longer. Additional hours worked during these times will be compensated. Please note that this is a part time role, working on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.About you An administrative expert, you have experience in producing and editing complex documents with a high degree of accuracy and to tight deadlines.
