What we are looking for: We currently have an openings to join our collections/ payments team in our Newcastle office. We’re looking for high performing individuals with a background in customer service. This role covers inbound and outbound calls, emails and text messages to service our customers. We are happy to train you if you don't have any experience in collections or call centre work. Responsibilities for these positions include: Negotiate repayment plans and set up payment arrangements. Monitor loan accounts for delinquency. Contact borrowers to collect overdue loan payments. Investigate accounts that remain delinquent and take appropriate action. Inbound communications with borrowers regarding delinquent accounts. Update borrower accounts on any changes. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Other duties as assigned. To be successful in this role you must have the following: Excellent communication skills/ phone manner and ability to interact with external customers and internal partners. Being proactive with high levels of energy and integrity. Good negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
