Maintenance Electrician — Perth, Perth Region

Your Impact As a Maintenance Electrician at our Welshpool site, you will be responsible for reliability and electrical maintenance on a modern high-tech facility. The machines you will be working with help deliver products that our consumers know and love. This is your opportunity to bring your knowledge and skillset into a role you can be passionate about. Please note, your typical roster will be 24/5; 8-hour rotating day/afternoon/night shift. Seasonal peak periods will move to a 24/7 roster of 12-hour rotating day/night shifts. Key responsibilities Ensuring that the plant and all machinery/equipment is working to 100% to maximise throughput and efficiency. Completing all required work orders with little or no impact to the production schedule. Maintaining a detailed work history captured through our maintenance management system. Ensuring that all upcoming planned maintenance and project work runs smoothly. Utilising your knowledge and experience to efficiently identify faults and rectifying the faults under pressure. General cleaning and housekeeping of areas, tools, machinery. Communicating with co-workers and management verbally & by telephone or e-mail. Working with the maintenance manager and maintenance planner to ensure all safety related issues and risks to the plant and our equipment are realised, resolved and captured. If the below sounds like you – we strongly encourage you to apply: You are a trade qualified electrician You have ability to diagnose and fault find using PLC and SCADA software You have an understanding of maintenance, engineering and production processes within an FMCG manufacturing environment (including HMI, and Lock Out & Tag Out processes) You are passionate about safety, ensuring that not only yourself but that your entire team is operating in a safe manner and are following processes to a tee You have a passion for continuous improvement, and have exposure to LEAN methodologies You have strong communication skills, and an ability to manage relationships at all levels You take accountability in delivering quality service to production teams, and quality product to customers Why Asahi Beverages?
