Your key responsibilities- Administering financial processes including procurement, ordering, payment of accounts, petty cash, monthly reporting and reconciliation in accordance with current legislative and departmental accounting practices.- Administering human resources processes including payroll, leave management, fortnightly and monthly reporting and reconciliation in accordance with current legislative and departmental human resources practices.- Investigating financial/human resources enquiries ensuring timely, accurate solutions are reached.- Liaising with departmental officers and other Government and non-government organisations as necessary.- Assist with the administration support required for provision of information and advice - on a range of project initiatives, which may include. if relevant, financial, human resource, IT, information management and other administrative tasks relevant to the business area.- Implement and administer departmental information systems, including those relating to clients, staffing, finance, administrative policy and procedures.- Manage and maintain the branch's records management and information systems including local registers and databases.- Organise meetings, conferences and travel arrangements and if requested, attend meetings to record minutes- Contributing to effective teamwork by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of other team members and working collaboratively to deliver services to the branch.
