JOB ID: 1398 MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTATOR PERMANENT SECURE EMPLOYMENT 3 TO 5 DAYS PER WEEK (FLEXIBLE/NEGOTIABLE) Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Medical Administrator/Receptionist to join an established private medico-legal psychology practice in Camberwell. The clinic has been set up to provide the most advanced treatments in their field, with their gentle and professional approach, they require someone like-minded to be the face of reception. The ideal candidate will have previous medical administration experience. Your phone manner, fast and accurate audio typing skills, strong work ethic, and self-motivation will ensure a long and prosperous placement in this caring and well-supported environment. Offering permanent employment - up to 5 days per week (neg), and excellent remuneration and work within a caring and professional team. Parking nearby together with all forms of public transport at the doors makes for an easy commute. Offering a fixed roster 3 to 5 days per week: Monday to Friday. Office hours: 9 am to 5 pm. Duties include: Typing reports /audio typing/editing reports Answering telephone calls Booking appointments & providing clinician availability provide information regarding the practice Putting together quotes and day plans Greeting clients, requesting they complete intake forms and organise tests. Processing payments via EFTPOS or cash Prepare /ensure all documents are ready for upcoming clinics. Entering details in Outlook/Database for appointments. Dealing with any correspondence. Raising invoices as required via XERO. Following up on documentation prior to the appointment date and private funding approvals. General administrative duties. Primary programmes used: Microsoft Office suite: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, XERO Essential criteria Able to work autonomously with excellent organisational and time management skills. Professional and compassionate outlook Uphold the utmost of patient confidentiality.
