About this role We are seeking an experienced lawyer to be part of building the in-house legal function at one of the largest health services in Western Australia. The Senior Legal Counsel will provide pragmatic legal advice on complex and sensitive issues across the breadth of NMHS’s services. Your responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing and advising on contracts about a diverse range of subject areas and health services, including medical research and product and services supply and procurement. Identifying and managing legal risk on behalf of NMHS. Supporting the development of policies that comply with legal requirements. Coordinating the provision of services to NMHS by external legal providers as required. What we are looking for A motivated and experienced senior lawyer who enjoys working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Strong conceptual, analytical and communication skills. The ability to lead and manage complex legal matters across a broad range of areas. Experience in building strong and effective partnerships with clients and stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail while managing competing priorities and deadlines. A values-driven individual to join our fantastic team at NMHS.
