UX/UI Designer — Melbourne, Melbourne Region

They are embarking on a 3 year Digital Transformation journey, and are looking for talented UX and UI Designers. Those with a flair for highlighting and solving customer pain points to develop and enhance the customer experience, being a passionate advocate for their members, all with a digital-first approach. What will you be doing? Support the Digital team by developing member insights that support change and drive business outcomes. Conduct member research such as data analysis, conducting user groups and interviews, to understand member needs, pain points and opportunities, translating the findings into actionable design solutions aligned to digital strategy. Contribute to developing problem definition, ideation workshops, prototyping, testing and analysis of feasibility and viability, creating assets and interfaces to support new and existing digital projects. Work closely with business, data and technology stakeholders to understand and identify CX issues to feed into solutioning. Advocate for Human Centred Design principles and the latest web usability and accessibility guidelines. Continuous monitoring of external digital trends and performance of digital assets to identify opportunities for improvement and added value for our members. What will you need to be successful? Experience working with external stakeholders, peers and cross-functional departments to ensure the digital strategy is executed in line with the plan. Strong technical skills and understanding across a wide range of web applications/platforms, and experience maintaining business applications in a complex commercial environment. Experience in interface prototyping, design and development, preferably in Figma. Experience in driving digital transformation across multiple stakeholders and business units through well-developed change management skills. Experience in working with agile development practices, user research, user-centred design methodologies, information architecture, and usability testing.
