Our opportunity As the Retail Leasing Executive, you will identify, strategize and maximise leasing income and new opportunities across Mirvac's retail portfolio to drive sales and deliver outstanding asset returns and optimised value. Your responsibilities will include: Contribute to the development, execution and delivery of the asset's Strategic Asset Plan, Strategic Leasing Plan and Budget Creating and continuously reviewing the asset's Strategic Leasing Plan to ensure targets and budgets are met or exceeded, sales and traffic is maximised, and the overall vision for the asset is achieved Act as the primary contact for all new lease negotiations and renewals, from initial point of contact through to handover with accurate input of information within the required systems Review lease applications for completeness and compliance, and escalate for approval where needed Provide direction and input into the creation of leasing marketing materials and ensure accuracy and consistency Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to ensure system/data integrity, efficient information flow and to drive portfolio wide excellence and efficiencies through consistency of approach, reporting and transfer of experiences and learnings Preparing proposals and providing information to prospective retailers and proactively sourcing and identifying new business high quality leads that will contribute to rental growth and low vacancy levels; Proactively reviewing rent market rates and adjusting asset rates accordingly with relevant approvals; Working closely with the Tenancy Coordination and Retail Design teams to manage retailer/operator expectations and ensure all tenancy fit-outs are consistently completed on time, in accordance with the plans and to a high standard; Working closely with the Pop Up Leasing team to assist with the delivery of the Pop Up Budget; Driving improvements and maximising efficiency of leasing procedures Positively promoting national retailer/operator opportunities and communicating team wins and success stories; Your point of difference 5 years of experience in retail real estate leasing Previous success in creating and driving leads and achieving targets ideally in retail Demonstrated success in achieving results through effective relationship management at all levels, and by driving a customer-centric strategy Commercial/financial acumen High level of IT proficiency Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable Strong analytical and report writing skills Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively, ensuring deadlines are achieved on time Strong pitching, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills Ability to think strategically, adapt to change, deal with ambiguity and complexity Proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to solve issues as they arise and to improve system and process efficiencies and effectiveness A commitment to quality, professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail Exceptional communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills All of these attributes are preferred, if you think you may be the right fit for the role please still apply.
