Our client is a Queensland Government department that is responsible for planning, managing and delivering Queensland's integrated transport environment to achieve sustainable transport solutions for road, rail, air and sea. The Role: 12 Months ( 2 x 12 Month extension) Carseldine location Hybrid - 2/3 split The Responsibilities: Assist with the database design requirements including timeseries, logs and audit. Provide subject matter expertise for Database Server config, build, manage and monitor databases. Investigate incidents (including performance issues). Perform DB data extracts, reorgs, refreshes, backups and restores. Build and maintain operational documentation for database environment. Provide support as an escalation point in the support of the database environments. Assist in the design and implementation of Database Backup, environment management and business continuity. Provide advice and guidance to the project team on data modelling and best practise use of database products Perform release and change management activities Other duties as required.
