With 564 guest rooms and suites, a luxurious Chi Spa, 4 food and beverage outlets and 18 conference and meeting rooms, this Deluxe 5-star hotel is tailored towards both the corporate and leisure guest. About the Role The Receptionist provides guests with a warm, friendly and efficient impression of the Chi Spa and performs all the operational functions of the Spa Reception and Reservations Counter Key Responsibilities: To maintain good working relationships with your own colleagues and all other departments. Ensure that all clients are handled in a professional and efficient standard of excellence. To contribute to a high level of external and internal customer relations by displaying prompt and courteous service. As assigned and at all opportunities, assists guest directly and indirectly in order to resolve problems and provide them a delightful staying experience in the hotel. Provide accurate information about the facilities, services and special events available. Respond to all telephone calls and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Initiate the taking and distribution of messages if the contacts are unavailable. Monitor and respond to online booking requests promptly and efficiently. Adheres to the provisions outlined in the Employee Handbook, Disciplinary Code and Rules and Regulations. Adheres to the set procedures for attendance and timekeeping To control and account for all transactions processed at the reception desk. To monitor and control all retail stocks and report any supplies for re-order to storekeeper-in-charge on a regular basis. Assist in any other tasks as specified by the Director of Spa and Wellness. About You Passion to deliver exceptional customer service Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy or equivalent Have a can do attitude and be willing to learn new skills Excellent communication skills; including both verbal and written. Be available to a work a in a rotating shift, including weekends and public holidays.
