About Us Essendon FC - "The Bombers" - are a professional sporting team in the Australian Football League. As home to 5 sporting teams, we run our AFL men's and women's programs, VFL women's and men's programs, and a wheelchair football team. But we're more than the game. About The Role We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver high quality design outcomes in accordance with the club's brand guidelines. Create visual concepts to communicate information and be part of the print production process, create marketing collateral and supply artwork for the club's social media channels and website. Design and produce compelling digital assets, including website graphics, social media visuals, email templates, digital ads, and multimedia content to enhance the club's online presence. Collaborate closely with the marketing, communications, and content teams to develop creative campaigns and initiatives that resonate with fans and drive engagement. Collaborate and provide design expertise to other parts of the Club, including the Commercial team with the design of content for commercial partner promotions. Work with the Senior Graphic and Digital Designer to manage the end-to-end process of digital design projects, from initial concept development and storyboard creation to final execution and delivery. Ensure all digital and graphic assets adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all touchpoints. Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and partners as needed to fulfill design requirements for special projects and events. Contribute to the development of design templates and assets for game-day materials, merchandise, signage, and other collateral. About You Minimum of Certificate IV qualification in graphic design, or related field, or in the process of completion. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Proficient on Mac platform and Microsoft Office Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity. Ability to follow a brief, communicate your vision/concept and take client feedback. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, particularly during the AFL season and major events.
