What this opportunity involves: An opportunity exists for a bright, motivated person to join our dynamic team in Retail Leasing as Retail Leasing Executive As the Retail Leasing Executive, you will be responsible for project, vacancy and maintenance leasing of a portfolio of retail properties and to identify and win new business. This role also supports the Retail Directors with the delivery of quality property management services across the portfolio. A snapshot of the role: Building relationships with Retailers (local and national) and Owners to develop the NSW retail leasing business Maintain a high level of regular communication with Owners, Centre Management and major chain retailers. Contacting and responding to tenants who make an enquiry by submitting details in writing/meeting them and arranging physical inspections of the appropriate properties Maintaining accurate records of correspondence, lease information, file notes on all meetings with retailers and any other relevant information that should be maintained to provide proper audit trail Being cognisant of current market rentals, retail rate and current trends within the industry Ensuring invoices of all leasing commission are raised promptly at the conclusion of agreed services and follow up with any debtors What we are looking for: To be successful, you'll have strong interpersonal skills to enable interaction with Owners, Retailers, staff members and co-workers. You'll have the ability to work independently, multi-task and be very well organized as a high level of initiative is required on a day-to-day basis. Strong negotiation and communication skills both in developing relationships and resolving disputes or problems as they arise is essential. Previous experience as Lease Executive in Retail Property and/or Retail Leasing environment is essential. You will need to hold as a minimum a Agents representative certificate in QLD.
