Call Me ELECTRICIAN About the business Our client's Trade Services team is in search of a committed Commercial Electrician experienced in building services maintenance to support our contract and facilities managers by delivering outstanding customer service. The selected candidate will receive a fully maintained service vehicle, competitive rates, a phone, uniform, and the stability of employment with a globally expanding company that has an extensive history in trade services. About the role We are seeking an experienced Electrician for a full-time position in the Adelaide area. As part of the Facilities Service team, you will report to the State Service Manager. Your primary responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to: Perform urgent, scheduled, and spontaneous maintenance, repairs, and inspections on the client's premises and equipment following the company's directives. Maintain close communication with key stakeholders to keep them informed of any disruptions to services caused by ongoing work. Engage actively and assume a participatory role during the transfer of new equipment items from Projects to Maintenance. Make certain that Key Performance Indicators, such as response times, safety, compliance, and financial performance, for all designated job numbers, are effectively managed. Promote working in a team environment with work colleagues. Use the mobility solution to access work order details and input and finalize all historical information in the system. Comply with our clients Services systems used to meet its health and safety obligations. General ad hoc duties as requested by your Leading Hand or local trade services management and schedulers. Skills and Experience To be considered for this position you will bring previous experience in a similar environment. Minimum requirements include: A minimum of two years' experience as an A-Class Electrician, with a background in commercial, domestic, or corporate settings, is required. Relevant current Trade Qualification and Licence – A Class Electrician Have current appropriate qualifications and training to issue or receive required work permits e.g. but not limited to Working at Heights, EWP. Experience with OH&S, Risk Management, Environmental Management or Quality Assurance systems. Ensure adherence to all legal requirements associated with the role including, but not limited to, The Trade Practices Act, Legislation, Fair Trading Act, Contract and Employment Law Valid manual Driver’s Licence Experience in Building Services Maintenance Basic estimating (small works) App’s experience for completing documentation Basic IT skills A set of basic tools What is in it for you?
