Retail Assistant — Mascot, Rockdale Area

An exciting opportunity has arisen at their Mascot store for an experienced retail/customer service assistant. You will be liaising with trade customers and consumers, taking orders face to face, over the phone and via email. Responsibilities Exceed the customer service targets for a Gas & Gear store. Create a professional environment to enhance the customer experience. Maintain a clean, tidy and well merchandised selling environment, whilst creatively merchandising the show room to attract maximum customer interest. Assist customers with queries and identify selling opportunities. Ensure the transaction process for customers is timely, efficient and accurate. Provide machine demonstrations to customers as required. Receiving, despatching and storing of cylinders and hardgoods Inventory stock take of hardgoods and gases on regular basis. Required key skills Well presented with excellent customer service skills Strong selling skills Written and verbal communication skills Ability to learn the product range and advise clients on suitable solutions Drivers licence preferable Forklift licence advantageous - if not the company will invest in training you.
