The team is committed to providing precise and accurate reports to strengthen internal operations and facilitate customer service delivery. The Analytics Engineer plays a pivotal role in refining raw data into polished, reusable datasets. Operating in accordance with software engineering best practices, they will create high-quality data pipelines and reports to uphold the team’s commitment to excellence. What you’ll be doing: Designing and maintaining data analytics solutions Creating data pipelines in Azure Synapse utilising PySpark and low-code tools Producing Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and data management solutions tailored to diverse projects Managing and enhancing the central data infrastructure to guarantee reliability and cost efficiency Collaborating with teams to design and implement technical solutions About you You will not only demonstrate technical proficiency but also possess a strong dedication to customer service, consistently delivering solutions that meet their client’s needs. You’ll have a proactive approach towards problem-solving, combined with a personal drive for excellence. You’ll also be able communicate effectively with both team members and stakeholders, fostering collaboration throughout projects. Don’t worry if your skills don’t match all the requirements. Your ideal skills & experience: Proficient in SQL, data modelling, and constructing data pipelines, with a grasp of both batch and streaming architectures, along with expertise in implementing lakehouse structures using the Azure data platform or Microsoft Fabric Skilled in crafting data models, generating reports, and building dashboards using Power BI Possess intermediate proficiency in DAX and Power Query M Experienced in troubleshooting and creating database objects within SQL Server, Azure SQL, or Synapse SQL pools Acquainted with administering Power BI capacity and data getaways Knowledge of Agile Development practices would be advantageous This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a Federal police check as an essential selection component for this role.
