The key duties of the position include Advisor Maintenance Engineering and Planning $115,565 - $134,779 15.4% super Brisbane based 2-years non-ongoing ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Senior Advisor AtoN Technical the Advisor Maintenance Engineering and Planning will be responsible for the providing engineering and planning expertise and advice for the upkeep of AMSA network of marine aids to navigation (AtoN). The roles and responsibilities of the Advisor Maintenance Engineering and Planning will include: Manage the development of long-term infrastructure maintenance strategies. Manage the development of risk-based capital works programs for the repair and upgrade of AtoN assets and systems. Manage the development of a risk assessment tool for the planning and prioritisation of capital work projects. Develop maintenance and project cost estimates for input to the Asset Management and Preparedness budgets. Review/interpret data and analytics to understand structure and system performance. Develop work packages for execution. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience: Relevant engineering degree and minimum of 5 years working experience in maintenance planning, civil or structural engineering or asset management. Demonstrated professional skills in asset management risk-based decision making. Thorough understanding of asset condition assessment and analytics. Thorough understanding of infrastructure maintenance planning. Thorough understanding of project cost estimating. Thorough understanding of the management of structural assets in a marine and/or coastal environment.
