With a commitment to excellence and a passion for creating safer environments, they are seeking a talented Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join their team in Newcastle. ABOUT THE POSITION. As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading and executing fire protection engineering projects from inception to completion. You will leverage your expertise to provide innovative solutions, manage project teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across various sectors, including Commercial, Industrial, Residential, and Healthcare. DUTIES. Lead and manage fire protection engineering projects, including conceptual design, detailed engineering, and construction support Conduct fire risk assessments and develop fire safety strategies tailored to client needs and project requirements Perform fire protection system design, analysis, and optimization, including fire detection, suppression, and evacuation systems Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate fire protection solutions seamlessly into architectural, structural, and MEP designs Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development Liaise with clients, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and regulatory compliance is maintained SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred Professional Engineering (PE) license in Fire Protection Engineering or ability to obtain licensure in the UK Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead project teams and engage with clients and stakeholders Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction CULTURE.Our client are a dynamic team of individuals who have years of industry experience.
