About the Role: Join our team as a ward clerk on a full time (Monday to Friday rotating roster. Shifts 0730 - 2130), to work at the Chemotherapy Day Unit based at Monash Health Moorabbin. About Us: Moorabbin Chemotherapy day unit is a 24 ambulatory care unit which operates Monday to Friday 0700 to 2130. The unit treats on average 45 patients a day ranging from patients with solid tumours to blood disorders. This roles focus will be on being the welcoming face of the Chemotherapy Day Unit Team. The administrative officer will be responsible for admitting and discharging patients who attend the Chemotherapy Day Unit. This will involve coordinating interpreting services and transportation. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised to ensure patient enquires are referred to the appropriate Monash Health service. About You: Health care administration is fast paced, our Administration Officers are an integral part of the team. You are a proactive, experienced health care administrator who enjoys a fast paced environment and can work effectively in an autonomous role.
