The Department of Social Services (DSS) has a wonderful opportunity for a highly motivated and organised person to join the Guides to Social Policy Law Team (Guides Team) within the Participation and Supplementary Payments Branch. The Branch is committed to providing a wide variety of flexible work arrangements, including work from home opportunities and access to training and support. The position is available full or part-time and job share will be considered. It is located in Woden with easy access to parking, the bus interchange and shopping centre. The Guides Team is responsible for maintaining the Guides to Social Policy Law (Guides), consisting of over 5,700 topics that are updated regularly to clarify or reflect changes in legislation and policy. There are eight scheduled releases of the Guides each year and additional urgent releases are actioned as required. The key duties of the position include assist the team perform administrative and processing tasks create, edit and publish website pages, using software applications identify and assign topics to internal and external stakeholders for amendment and review track progress of topics assigned to stakeholders quality check, format and proof read topics prior to publishing.
