Our Care Car program gives older people an affordable, safe and age-friendly transport option to help them live independently at home. Supported by our Community Foundation, the Care Cars are volunteer-driven to help ensure the service is affordable for clients who rely on it to get to and from medical appointments and so much more. This role is a rewarding opportunity to connect with our clients while you provide a practical service that makes a difference in their lives. The position suits volunteers who love to work in a team, be around people and have good communication skills and empathy. We provide you with modern, safe and fully-maintained vehicles and smartphones for easy navigation and communication with our support team.
