The successful applicant will be highly motivated, committed to a high standard of customer focused care, excellent time management and organisational skills. As the Team Leader you will be responsible for providing operational direction through the Administration Manager and manage the efficient and effective bookings, admissions, and switchboard of Holmesglen Private Hospital. Customer Service is expected to be exceptional, and this is reflected by positive patient experience. The Team Leader role requires a hands-on approach to all areas of responsibility, with a significant supervisory component. About us Holmesglen Private Hospital is a world class facility located in the South Eastern region of Melbourne. Close to public transport and with affordable onsite parking. Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. - including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services As an 2IC your responsibilities will include: · Support Manager day to day tasks · Daily and monthly reports · Manage rosters, staffing and supervision of staff including ED, WC, infusion centre, reception, pre-admissions, discharges, billing and theatre bookings, · Perform process review and ongoing change management where required · Handle enquiries and resolve complaints · Patient Billing and Receipting/Medicare rebate · Maintain accurate records · Coordinate with staff from other departments · Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry Essential Criteria: · Authority to Work in Australia · Billing experience · Private hospital experience · Prior experience leading or managing a team · Experience with Medical Software advantageous i.e. WebPAS, · Impeccable customer service · Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment · Strong attention to detail · Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Why Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
