An exciting opportunity exists for a Civil Site Engineer to join Genus Infrastructure. The Role Genus Infrastructure is seeking applications from experienced Civil Site Engineers to fill roles based in on our major projects across Australia including country region. Reporting directly to the Engineering Team Leader. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the: Performing overall quality control of all work and reporting regularly on project status. Interpreting Client needs and requirements and comprehending the Client's scope of work and technical specifications. Develop preliminary and finalized Bill of Materials (BOM’s) for various Project materials and verify and reconcile BOM’s to latest drawings. Raise, record, and expedite Technical Queries (TQ’s) Assist with the review of Construction schedules. Produce and expedite and Workpacks for Inspection and Testing. Raise, record, and expedite Non-conformance Reports (NCR’s) Identify and assess drawing changes for any financial or time cost impact. Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications Tertiary Degree in Civil Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering or project management roles. Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety, and familiarity with Australian industry regulations, applicable codes, best practice, and performance standards. Ability to interpret Scope of Work documentation and design drawings and familiarisation with drafting software tools including AutoCAD, Microstation or Solidworks. Organisation skills to coordinate multiple tasks on multiple projects in accordance with the overall project plan. Possess high level of analytical ability required to solve complex problems. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel. Use of scheduling tools (Such as Primavera) preferred. Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications Qualifications in Operations or Project Management. Civil Engineering experience or knowledge base. Experience within a professional engineering firm, utilities, resources, or construction industry.
