This opportunity is for an ambitious and driven Junior Contracts Administrator to join a well-established, fit out and refurbishment builder in Sydney ABOUT THE COMPANY. This is a well-established building and construction company, with a reputation for delivering high-end, luxury fit out and refurbishment projects to the highest standards. Their commercial projects are valued from $5M - $10M. Having a well-established relationship with several high-profile clients, this company has a strong pipeline with several exciting projects lined up. As such, this company is seeking to employ an ambitious Junior Contracts Administrator to help with the delivery of current and upcoming projects from start to finish in their Sydney division. ABOUT THE POSITION. As a Junior Contracts Administrator, you will report directly to the Project Manager. You will work collaboratively with the site, design, and project team to deliver multiple projects across NSW, right from the design stages through to completion. You will liaise with the project team to ensure that the project is delivered to a high standard. This position is perfect for a Junior CA looking to grow and develop in their career. DUTIES. Handle all contractual variations or issues with diligence. Maintain project documents and assets. Monitor/track financial status. Prepare monthly cost reports and forecast financial goals Prepare the documentation required for the procurement of subcontractors including tenders, pricing and the scope of work tender. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Communication Stakeholder Management Leadership Problem solving skills. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar. Solid local experience working as a Junior Contracts Administrator on commercial or Industrial building projects. Working knowledge of major building trades Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
