The role: Located at our global head office in Kilsyth, Melbourne; reporting to the Export Manager you will oversee an assigned territory to help develop and implement ARB's business development strategy for specified key accounts. This will include but not be limited to developing relationships with existing and potential new distributors, dealers, construction, oil and gas and mining companies and Government agencies. Key responsibilities include: Identify opportunities for new business with existing key accounts, including exploring new markets and potential customers. Conduct client visits and business reviews to strengthen relationships and gather feedback. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and solutions to win new business while maintaining profitability. Analyse customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for service improvement. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality customer service and timely delivery of services. Maintain accurate communication records, rate cards, contracts, and agreements with key accounts. Lead and drive initiatives that enhance business growth and contribute to the company's success. Develop strategies to capitalise on emerging industry trends and market opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: Proven experience developing new markets. Experience diversifying existing sales channels. Minimum 2 years' sales experience. 2 years customer service experience Excellent organizational, detail-oriented and interpersonal skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Japanese and/or French language skills whilst not essential highly desirable.
