North Metropolitan Education Region Takari Primary School Teacher - Primary - Languages - Auslan 00027348 Teacher, $78,397 - $113,568 per annum (SEA GA 2021) Advertised Vacancy Number: SS/TCH885359 This is a permanent part-time (0.2FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2024 Takari Primary School (PS) are seeking a dedicated and passionate Auslan Teacher to join their friendly school. We are seeking a teacher who ideally pursues excellence in teaching, has high expectations and truly believes that all children can be successful learners. To be considered for this role, you should have knowledge of Auslan and the ability to promote language learning in a primary setting. You should be committed to putting students first in your decision-making and undertake the work that is inherent in adhering to a whole school approach. You will ideally deliver motivating and quality educational programs supported by evidence-based teaching practices that lead to successful students and high standards of achievement. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers): Professional knowledge; Professional practice; and Professional engagement.
