About the Role: Responsibilities include, but not limited to; Leading the implementation and delivery of the 7-10 Australian Curriculum Design Technology. Leading the implementation and delivery of the 10-12 courses (General, Applied and VET offerings). Leading the explicit improvement agenda of Design Technology faculty aligning with the MSC improvement agenda. Developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders to maximise educational outcomes for students. Highly desirable skills and experience; Team Leadership (diverse range of staff/roles). Design Technology Curriculum (AC, QCAA and VET). Contemporary understanding of industry requirements and direction. Mental health / social / emotional support strategies. Strong conflict resolution, mediation skills and staff team building skills. Develop and maintain community networks and partnerships. Current and emerging technology and education trends and opportunities. Data Literacy to develop and implement systems to track, monitor and lead intervention for student learning progress and wellbeing.
