If you’re a positive and hardworking individual who loves working with a fun and dynamic group of people – then boy do we have the perfect role for you Your new role: Based at Greentech Cairns, you will be responsible for ensuring goods are received from suppliers on time and undamaged. The role will assist with loading and unloading of products, the safe and timely delivery to our customers and various branch activities as required. Your key responsibilities will include: Receiving goods from suppliers, ensuring they are undamaged and match the orders placed. Stock administration, including entering new stock on computer register and coding goods. Stocking shelves ensuring the safe storage of goods. Picking orders that are due to be dispatched to customers. Ensuring goods are delivered to customers on time and obtaining signatures as proof of delivery. Ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are kept clean and tidy at all times. Understanding and observing standard safety and security precautions. To be successful in this role, you will: Ideally have previously worked in a similar Storeperson position. Be excellent at managing your own time and a real ‘self-starter’; you don’t need someone watching over your shoulder to get things done. Be more than happy to move around on your feet all day – this role can be physically demanding at times and requires someone fit with a “can-do” attitude Work well in a team – we recognise that our staff are our greatest asset and maintain a positive working environment is non-negotiable.
