About the role Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs. We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical background to provide technical engineering support to our Paraburdoo Mobile Equipment Maintenance team. This role is a great opportunity to work with a diversified fleet of equipment and gain exposure to a wide variety of equipment manufacturers. You can also expect exposure to leadership step-up opportunities whilst working with product support advisors, conditioning monitoring technicians and equipment inspectors. Working a family-friendly 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off roster and reporting to the Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will be: Providing technical engineering solutions for mobile equipment (Komatsu, Caterpillar, Hitachi, LeTourneau etc) Analysing major component failures and incidents Involved in defect elimination projects and root cause analysis Assisting the execution team daily with engineering support and guidance Assisting with condition monitoring and fleet health analysis About you To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: A relevant tertiary qualification in electrical engineering A current manual C Class Driver's Licence Previous experience working with heavy mobile equipment Working knowledge of SAP or a similar work management system Project management skills; managing multiple projects simultaneously including project scoping, planning, execution and management Experience in equipment failure investigations utilising root cause analysis tools Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders Strong safety behaviours Where you will be working Located 80km south west of Tom Price, Paraburdoo is a town nestled in some of the most scenic landscape in Western Australia.
