We're on the hunt for a passionate and skilled leader to shape a newly created function that will ensure we have the guardrails, processes, and expertise to deliver consistent experiences that live up to our brand and CX ambitions. Your team The Customer, Marketing and Communication (CMC) division's purpose is to attract and retain customers through experiences that are not only simple and useful, but also informed by strategy and insight. The Digital Content and Experience Team, which sits within the CMC division, is responsible for championing experience across all of our digital channels and platforms. With digital interactions fast becoming the preferred way of banking, we are obsessed with creating the best possible digital experience for our customers, and we place them at the heart of everything we do. The role As Senior Manager, Design & Content Delivery you will lead a newly formed team that will focus on ensuring we have the right systems, processes and expertise to empower our UX and content functions to efficiently and effectively deliver exceptional customer and brand outcomes across our digital channels. Your team will include our design system squad, as well as an accessibility manager. You'll work closely with external partners across accessibility, UX research and design tools. To be successful in this role you'll be a natural leader, capable of bringing others on the journey and creating real and tangible change. You will be confident in navigating business complexity, in an agile environment and able to influence stakeholders to shape delivery outcomes. As this is a newly created role, you'll need to be naturally curious, proactive and capable of building approaches from the ground up. Your impact and contribution Play a hands-on role creating and shaping processes and guardrails that drive better outcomes across design and content. Lead a cross-disciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture. Collaborate with peers to identify opportunities to improve ways of working through ceremonies and operating rhythms. Champion our approach to delivering more accessible digital experiences. Work closely with external partners and manage supplier relationships. Identify opportunities to improve or embed tools that enable our team to work more efficiently and deliver better experience outcomes. Manage critical CX delivery projects. Be curious and collaborative, working with stakeholders of all levels, including senior leaders. Skills and experience required: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within a CX field, such as experience design, service design, content, marketing or product ownership. Experience working in a complex environment and working within risk guardrails Thorough understanding of agile delivery practices and ways of working, particularly within a chapter or centre of excellence. Exceptional communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders and collaborate with different teams to drive shared outcomes. Demonstrated operational experience that includes owning critical processes, ideally designing them from scratch. Ability to build relationships and influence at senior leader level. Thrives in a fast-paced environment, working on new things, and happy to step out of comfort zone. Have a passion and curiosity to do things better, not only for our customers but internally with our teams. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field. Agile qualifications desirable.
