The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager – Australasia and based at our Essendon Fields office, your role focuses on ensuring a seamless administration of trading process in order to assist and support the Commercial Trading team. In this full-time permanent role, you will be responsible for the detailed execution of the Monthly order/Shipping plan for the Trading team. This is a fast paced, highly dynamic position that will suit a very organised and driven individual from the shipping/ global trading industry best. On a typical day you’d be busy with but not limited to: Creation of shipments, Sales orders, Purchase Orders Own the deal process from approval through to delivery and receipt of goods Booking containers and preparing the relevant documentation Review loading documentation and photographs to ensure goods are compliant Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, provide a high standard of customer service Timely processing of vendor invoices and reconciliation of vendor statements Maintain exemption report of EDNs in BSM in accordance with Australian Customs regulations. What you need to bring to the role: Strong administrative and exceptional customer service experience within a fast paced environment Previous experience in Shipping industry is desirable Knowledge of BSM advantageous but not essential Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders Be a highly motivated, driven and organised individual who masters the art of prioritising When you join Visy, you’re joining a global leader dedicated to making serious progress in the sustainable packaging and recycling industries.
