Forming part of Case CE Distributions team, the position is responsible for managing the day-to-day Logistics activity for Case CE with the main focus being to track and know that you are getting the right gear, to the right place at the right time. It’s critical for this role to be the key liaison with all that are involved, being organised, able to think clearly, communicate well while handling a variety of demanding tasks. Key Accountabilities Start to end planning and tracking to achieve on-time delivery requirements. Expedite and track shipments, provide updates to stakeholders as part of your end-to-end planning through to delivery where you will close out with Finance. Efficient use of excel to keep track and co-ordinate logistics movements and cost, ensuring delivery in the timeliest and cost-efficient manner. Regular liaison international plants to understand material lead times and coordinate shipping activity to suite. Highlight and mitigate risks, liaising closely with the General Manager and Sales Optimizing freight spend and present freight and container opportunities. Regular reporting. Work Experience Essential: Experience in a similar role. Working knowledge of international (import/export/air/ocean) and domestic (air/road) transport is desired. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills; and Organisational and time management skills is critical to this role. Work autonomously and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, positively contributing to the culture of the organization; and Articulate, engage and analyse situations, seeking practical solutions to drive positive outcomes.
