They have developed and changed a lot over the 30 years in business but are consistent with their quality commercial furniture and ergonomic accessories to State and Federal Government Departments and Organisations. The Role The sales co-ordinator prepares quotes for the sales team as required and answer to requests via phone and email, web, or any other portal. Understand and utilise the companies electronic operating system. The sales coordinator will be required respond to all sales activity when requested. This may be helping other team members with large tender proposals, project estimations or single items. They contact customers and prospects if required and will be expected to have an excellent phone manner. The sales co-ordinator is expected to learn and understand our product range to provide detailed explanations to customer requests and enquires. Make face to face contact if called upon to perform delivery/pick up of loan items as required. Responsibilities Include: Offer exceptional service and manage client expectations throughout the entire sales cycle. Ensure rapid response to sales enquiries, building rapport and trust with prospects. Following quotes up promptly, liaising with the sales staff to overcome any issues that may arise. Actively prospecting new clients through a variety of methods including email, cold-calling, face to face meetings, LinkedIn in-mails, networking events, tradeshows. Effective communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders Proactively support junior staff members to understand and improve systems/procedures that translate to higher quality service delivery. Complete relevant CRM requirements Ensure sales targets are achieved and provide weekly reports. All customer interaction to be in keeping with standards and guidelines, and that you work in a professional manner and in your capacity as a senior team member offer guidance to all junior staff members. Time and deliverable targets for each quote are met. Quotes provided within 24 hrs. Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate. Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system. All systems, protocols, and procedures to be strictly adhered to. Forecast sales and delivery targets and ensure they are met by the team. Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner. Help other staff members by training and mentoring to help develop best practice within our company. Ensure that all clients are given the best possible service. Keep control of jobs at the “sales” level to ensure delivery expectations. We expect ownership until the invoice is paid. The successful candidate will have: Understand company short and long-term strategic goals, help building customer relationships and provide exceptional service. Undertake the entire sales process. Field enquiries and provide quotes for goods. Confirm orders and follow the transaction through to delivery, helping logistics where possible. You will play a key support roll tying together the complete sales process, working with senior sales people and the logistics crew to help ensure the best customer experience.
