Assistant Sales Manager — Greenacre, Bankstown Area

We supply major supermarkets and independent grocery stores across Australia, New Zealand and Europe with brands and products familiar throughout the Asia Pacific region. We are proud of what we have achieved in the Asian food category and are looking for a new addition to our team We have an incredible opportunity for an Assistant Sales Manager to join our close-knit Frozen team in Chullora Primary Responsibilities: 1. Routine Work • Maximise Monthly Sales Budget and Yearly Sales Budget for the designated areas for both personal and the team. • Visit customers as per set call cycle • Place orders with individual customers to optimise the stock level in a timely manner • Recommend and distribute new lines to customers • Solicit additional stock orders where opportunities exist • Check data code and rotate stock as required • Identify out-of-stock and follow up • Check quality and appearance of stock to ensure saleability and report discrepancies that may be considered a product risk • Check store range compliance against applicable layout profiles • Build layout and relays stores as required • Report competitive new lines or activities being launched • Report parallel import product • Check monthly promotional program tie-up against master file • Collect outstanding payment from the customers in a timely manner • Adapting to SOP and guidelines set for the sales team, and working cooperatively with other teams • The above may be subject to change from time to time and be willing to undertake any other responsibility as assigned by management as and when necessary. 2. Sales Strategies • Implementing sales strategies from the Sales Manager • Formulating action plan and putting in execution 3. Team Management • Supervising, guiding and motivating the sales team to achieve sales • Supervising, guiding and motivating the sales team to provide adequate market feedback • Supervising, guiding and motivating the sales team to implement the day-to-day tasks from Sales Manager • Monitoring the performance of the sales team • Regular reporting back to the Sales Manager the above 4.
