About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our growing business as a Logistics and Customer Service Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our logistics department at our national office in North West Sydney. Your primary objective will be to ensure the timely delivery of products to customers, all while reducing costs and upholding the highest standards of service excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of international supply chain operations, hold exceptional leadership skills and have a customer-centric mindset. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional logistics solutions and customer experiences, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain relationships with logistic service providers (3PL & freight forwarder) to improve overall business performance. Proactively anticipate, identify and eliminate logistical challenges to optimise efficiency. Supervise domestic logistics budget and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Responsible for inventory management, weekly stock reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies. Oversee international shipping process, ensuring customs compliance for over 280 40’ refrigerated containers annually. This includes managing container loading quality and coordinating container unloading schedules and procedures. Manage damaged stock repacking process as part of 3PL warehouse management. Administer landed cost allocation within the ERP system Prepare and distribute monthly sales management reports and logistics KPI reports. Conduct monthly calls with Global Logistics to discuss work targets and participate in quarterly calls with logistics managers to exchange best practices. Promptly escalate cost, distribution, and shipment concerns internally. Calculate and communicate logistic spend accruals to the accountant. Participate in the annual Finance audit. Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics & customer service processes and streamline operations. Mentor and develop one direct report, fostering their growth and development within the organisation. Requirements: Degree and or APICS qualification is desirable Strong understanding of international supply chain operations, business administration and operations management. A hands-on management style with a collaborative approach to teamwork, capable of leading by example and driving results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach. Strong financial skill set for budgeting and reporting purposes.
