As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, administrative support, and ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality & Sustainability (HSEQS) standards throughout the project lifecycle. About You We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in construction engineering. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality. Experience in managing large-scale construction projects and familiarity with rail and associated civil infrastructure will be highly valued. Key Accountabilities Reporting to the Manager, Construction, the Site Engineer will be responsible for: Assisting with the planning, execution, and closing of the Stephenson Avenue Project. Providing technical, administrative, and HSEQS support to the Project Manager and Supervisors. Constantly interacting and liaising with project stakeholders to ensure project success. Accurately reporting project progress including cost, time, scope, and quality. Developing, implementing, recording, and monitoring engineering and management plans. Assisting with administrative tasks including onsite HSEQS, logistics, and procurement. Administering contract works activities in compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures. Ensuring permits, approvals, and design specifications are adhered to. Supporting project planning, execution, and handover. Preparation of various construction documentation including Work Procedures and Inspection & Test Plans. Managing material traceability and procurement processes. Tracking costs and establishing productivity measures. Conducting internal audits and maintaining quality management systems. Liaising with the project delivery team to ensure compliance with company obligations. Accurately recording daily progress, material deliveries, and site resources. Required Skills and Competencies Civil Engineering degree or similar. Construction Induction Training (CIT/'White Card'), obtained via face-to-face training. Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card, with appropriate training, inductions, competencies, roles, and medical. Current Driver License and reliable vehicle. 2-3 years of experience as a project-based engineer in construction engineering, preferably in rail and associated civil infrastructure.
