Our Buildings and Energy Team in Canberra & Southern NSW have multiple opportunities for Structural Engineers to join our team in Canberra to work with an accomplished team of engineers and BIM specialists. This is a career growth opportunity that will offer phenomenal variety in project scope and will see you involved in: Structural design of buildings and infrastructure including inspections, assessments, and reporting. Work collaboratively with Architects, project managers, building services and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering significant projects. Working as part of a team on projects from conception, through to final design and construction surveillance. Project management and supporting the team leader to ensure successful project delivery. Work on exciting projects spanning the globe for a variety of clients including government agencies. A diverse and flexible workplace with hybrid working arrangements. What would you bring to the team? A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable. 3 to 8 years' experience as a Structural Engineer in a design consultant capacity is preferred. A passion for analysis, design and documentation. Experience in an Australian consulting environment. Strong communication skills both oral and written (including technical report writing). A desire to continue learning and share knowledge, skills, and experience through professional development. Excellent time and priority management skills Ability to mentor junior Engineers, subject to experience. Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Code and Standards Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials within the Australian consulting environment would be beneficial.
