Headquartered in Sydney, they are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join their Construction Practice Group as a Legal Secretary. THE ROLE: As a Legal Secretary, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive administrative support to a Partner and a team of fee earners. Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-level legal secretarial support to fee earners. Managing general administration tasks, including inbox management, drafting correspondence, and court documents. Ensuring compliance with client SLA's and specific billing requirements during monthly billing processes. Handling client and matter queries, from opening to closure of a matter. Coordinating with counsel on generating briefs and managing matter coordination. Capturing and recording fee earner time, including business development activities. Diary management, organising internal and external client meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements. Assisting with client and matter queries, routine correspondence, and organising appointments. Managing finance-related tasks, including processing third-party invoices, compiling fee earner expenses, and assisting with timesheets. THE CANDIDATE: Minimum 2 years legal secretary experience in any Area of Law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Superior time management and attention to detail. High level of professionalism with clear and concise communication. Flexibility to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with Elite 3E and iManage will be highly regarded. Positive attitude, adaptability, and a collaborative approach. Willingness to assist with all other reasonable work-related fee earner requests. This role is not suited for law students.
