6 12 12 month contract - April 24 start $95 - $115 per hour (inc-Super) - market estimate Baseline Security Clearance Mandatory Canberra (Woden) - Hybrid / WFH / Remote considered Our client, a large, Federal Government Organisation responsible for health research, funding, promotion and regulation, are Seeking the experience of a Test Analyst (Data Warehouse) for long 6 12 12 month contract, based in Canberra (Woden). Duties of the Test Analyst (Data Warehouse) Lead a team to test the function and interfaces of the systems which make up the Department's core business processing systems. Prepare, estimate, manage and review testing documentation, ensuring relevant strategies, plans follow best practice and management of risks are considered. Provide training on technical testing processes and work closely with other test analysts to achieve testing outcomes. Identify opportunities for automation within software processes, using scripts that test functionality through analysis, test preparation, test execution, defect management, and technical troubleshooting activities. Communicate across a range of media types, using various styles to suit different audiences and understand and embrace the agency's various ways of working and are agile in their approach for collaboration and delivery of services. Skills and Experience Required Demonstrated experience (5 years) in Data Warehouse testing. Experience in the preparation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, test results and defect reporting. Proven Data Warehousing testing with strong SQL skills and ETL knowledge. Experience with Azure DevOps. Thorough understanding of testing practices and processes in agile and waterfall project environment. A ISTQB Foundation Certificate, or equivalent. SQL, Oracle, or equivalent certification (desired). ISTQB Agile Extension or equivalent certification (desired).
