This is your opportunity to join one of Australia's most well regarded immigration law firms About the Role Our client seek a dedicated and professional Legal Assistant to join their dynamic legal team. This role will allow you to engage directly with clients and play a crucial part in managing a diverse range of immigration law matters, with a focus on visa applications. You will work closely with our legal professionals, assisting them in administrative and client support activities. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, actively assisting with enquiries and proactively seeking necessary information. Efficient document management, including proofreading, accurate file noting, filing, and monitoring for required follow-up actions. Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing knowledge, offering support, and contributing constructively to the team dynamic. Prepare client and departmental correspondence and assist in preparing visa application documents as requested. Assist in gathering evidence and documents from clients and stakeholders. Manage diaries, appointments, and meeting arrangements, ensuring optimal organisation and time management. Required Skills & Experience A minimum of 18 months experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal or a solid background in administration. Knowledge of immigration law processes and procedures, particularly in preparing relevant immigration law and visa application documents. Superior organisational and time management skills, proven ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively adapting your style to manage client expectations. A strong passion for client support. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including exceptional interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with Migration Manager software is a plus.
