We're on the hunt for a passionate and experienced UX Design Lead who will be responsible for a team of Experience Designers. Your team The Customer, Marketing and Communication (CMC) division's purpose is to attract and retain customers through experiences that are not only simple and useful, but also informed by strategy and insight. The Digital Content and Experience Team, which sits within the CMC division, is responsible for championing experience across all of our digital channels and platforms. With digital interactions fast becoming the preferred way of banking, we are obsessed with creating the best possible digital experience for our customers, and we place them at the heart of everything we do. The role Our Experience Design team visualises the customer experience across our mobile app, online banking, Broker portal and website. Our designers place the customer at the heart of everything they do by working across teams to continually research, design, test, and deliver designs that improve our customer experience. As an Experience Design Lead, you will help drive the digital experience ecosystem and capability of your team. You'll be responsible for planning and managing UX activity within crews and squads to meet business outcomes and timelines, while championing our vision and design philosophy. Your impact and contribution Maximising the potential of your team to elevate Bankwest's digital experiences and interfaces Setting the standard for managing design projects from beginning to end to ensure design efforts meet both customers' needs and business goals. Gathering and synthesise information and data to explore and define the customer and business problem space to find the right outcome Support your team in the planning and execution of research activities and ensuring insights are accessible across the business Identify key user tasks to be supported by solutions, creating customer journeys, IA and flows to visualise experiences Create and validate divergent ideas to explore solution options and converging on a subset of concepts that best solve for the identified problem space, facilitating workshops as required with relevant stakeholders. Create and validate detailed wireframes and interactive prototypes of large/complex features and flows, to visualise the UI and interaction model for stakeholders and developers and identifying patterns to be included in the design system. Communicate with clear rationale to gain support and buy-in from stakeholders and advocating for UXD in the broader organisation. Skills and experience required: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in UX design Proven design leadership and mentorship experience Extensive experience implementing the end-to-end UX process Capable of looking at the big picture and diving into details Thorough understanding of agile delivery practices and ways of working, particularly within a chapter or centre of excellence. Exceptional communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders and collaborate with different teams to drive shared outcomes. A passion and commitment towards delivering the best customer experience across digital channels Experience in utilising customer research, user testing, and behaviour and digital analytics to drive design decisions Awareness of and experience designing within risk regulations So, why work at Bankwest?
