Your next opportunity With great customer support, customers will want to work for us If you have a passion for providing key customer service without the requirement of making cold or sales-based calls, then this role is for YOU If you pride yourself on being a reliable, driven and self-motivated individual then we want YOU to join our Customer Service team based in our Port Melbourne Office In this opportunity, you will work off a rotating roster with shifts ranging between our operating hours of 6 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday and rotational roster for Saturdays, 6 am to 12 pm. Your day will involve: Receive orders and enter them into our systems in a precise and agile manner (with training provided) Understand production capabilities of the Boral plant and truck network Monitor progress of deliveries and provide delivery status information to the customer, using vehicle tracking systems Build professional relationships with customers and internal teams. What are we looking for? Be a punctual, professional and reliable team member, joining your peers in the office - 5 days per week. Enthusiastic customer focus, willing to be an integral part of a busy and efficient order-taking and distribution team Exceptional communication skills to identify and resolve customer issues and capture customer orders with the highest level of precision Computer literate Proven ability to learn and meet the challenges of an ever-changing environment.
