You will work closely with our UX designers and developers to curate user interfaces, crafting seamless experiences across our assets. Your ability to compose interfaces that focus on detail and consistency of styles while creating a connection with our customers needs will set you up for success in this role. Your team The Customer, Marketing and Communication (CMC) division's purpose is to attract and retain customers through experiences that are not only simple and useful, but also informed by strategy and insight. The Digital Content and Experience Team, which sits within the CMC division, is responsible for championing experience across all of our digital channels and platforms. With digital interactions fast becoming the preferred way of banking, we are obsessed with creating the best possible digital experience for our customers, and we place them at the heart of everything we do. Bankwest's Experience Design team drives the customer experience across our mobile app, online banking, and websites. Your impact and contribution Application of Brand into graphical user interfaces Actively contribute and evolve the Bankwest Design Language and design system. Development of innovative interface designs, typography, and screen layouts for web and mobile apps. Create design documentation to be consumed by delivery teams in a scaled agile working environment. Prototyping and powerful visual storytelling to influence future direction of our experiences. Ideate and conceptualise divergent ideas to explore solution options and converge on a subset of concepts that best solve for the identified problem space. Skills and experience required: Highly developed user interface and interaction design skills with applied knowledge of visual design, accessibility, responsive and scalable design Demonstrated usage of tools such as Figma and Adobe Suite Experience in designing for native platforms in iOS, Android, and Web with working knowledge of angular, React or similar Demonstrated experience creating functional prototypes A curious mindset with an aptitude and passion for learning new skills in analytics, content, research, and coding An ability to confidently communicate with technical and engineering teams across multiple communication mediums to realise final execution Demonstrated experience working with design systems including governance, maintenance, and documentation So, why work at Bankwest?
