Position Overview: They are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with specialized experience in civil engineering, particularly in projects involving the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR). The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of road and bridge projects, demonstrating technical expertise and strong project management capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Support the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects, with a focus on roads and bridges. Assist in liaising with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) to ensure project compliance and regulatory requirements are met. Contribute to the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery and adherence to quality standards. Conduct technical analysis and provide engineering expertise to resolve project-related challenges. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely and successful project completion. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience in civil engineering projects, with a focus on roads and bridges. Knowledge of Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) standards and procedures. Strong technical skills in engineering design, construction methodologies, and project management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time, both within Brisbane and away on project sites. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
