Hands-on leadership opportunity within our disability accommodation program Permanent full-time position located in Austin Street Alphington. Supportive team environment Competitive Salary and NFP Salary Packaging About the role Experienced Team Leader required to join our Supported Disability Accommodation (SDA) facility in Alphington, all residents have an ABI. This role manages the day-to-day operations of our Accommodation Services, providing operational and people leadership to our team of Support Workers (DSWs), manages roster coordination, liaises with resident families and provides quality person centred services to residents. Your exceptional leadership and people skills with a natural ability to listen, learn, influence and build effective relationships with your team will be key to your success in this full time role, reporting to the Manager. About you: To be successful in this role ideally your background will be as a Team Leader in supported accommodation services ideally in the disability sector. Your exceptional leadership and people skills allows you to build effective relationships, you will be an outstanding communicator. Your time management, teamwork and collaboration skills will be first class to provide the level of care required. Relevant qualifications a Certificate IV Disability minimum Experience working with Acquired Brian Injury disabilities. Excellent Communication skills, with ability to build relationships with staff, families, and other stakeholders. Outstanding time management planning and organising the team to provide person centred care. Demonstrated ability to manage critical incidents escalating when required ensuring best practice client care. Skilled in providing direct personal care to individuals with disability and complex care requirements. Demonstrated understanding it the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Current Working with Children’s Check NDIS Screening Clearance If you have the skills and experience required and a passion for making a difference and APPLY NOW .
