Intrax Consulting Engineers are an Australian owned, mid-sized engineering company that provide an end-to-end service to our clients across a range of services including Structural, Civil, Residential, Building Services, Forensic, Surveying and Geotechnical Engineering. We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our high performing team in our Sydney CBD office (right next to Townhall train station). What your role looks like day to day: Delivering high quality and innovative civil designs and documentation for single and multi-unit dwellings and basements End to end ownership of project work from concept design to construction within delivery time frames which includes visiting, attending and managing client meetings to discuss scope of works, expectations and problem solving Liaising and managing communications with council’s, variety of clients and developers, and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines Working closely with internal engineers to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects You bring to the table: A minimum qualification of a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution Previous exposure and experience with designing preferred: Onsite detention systems General Stormwater design in low rise residential development Infiltration and Dispersion system Driveway design Experience in design of stormwater and drainage layout for residential buildings preferred Familiar with NSW council design requirement Proficient in the use of engineering design software tools including DRAINS, Hec-Ras, Civil 3D, MUSIC would be preferred An ability to build rapport with all types of clients and project stakeholders Ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes By joining the team at Intrax, you will have access to a range of benefits including: Our mission is to Create, Inspire, Grow so whatever your role, life stage, or background, you can shape your career at Intrax in your own way with highly challenging work, great colleagues, plus a range of flexible benefits and working patterns.
