As part of the collegiate legal team you will advise on research, grants, regulatory and related contracts. About the role: Working closely with the General Counsel as well as the four lawyer strong legal team your day to day will be varied and will see you: review, negotiate and draft contacts, licences, deeds and other commercial agreements including collaboration agreements, funding agreements, privacy, property law, employment law and intellectual property; advise on high value funding and research collaboration projects; advice and support throughout the business; proactively identify and work on process improvement within the business. Skills/Experience: To be considered for this role you will have: 4 years' PAE with strong contracts experience and an unrestricted Queensland practicing certificate; demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts; excellent attention to detail and organisation skills; a commercial approach allowing you to manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders; ideally exposure providing legal advice to the research or relevant academic sectors.
