Our client, located in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide is looking for experienced civil workers and operators for ongoing roles. Fulltime hours and permanent positions available for the right person. You will be expected to complete all tasks to the highest standards and be capable of working well in both small groups and unsupervised. To be successful in this position, you will have previous experience working on civil construction projects including road upgrades, residential subdivisions or landscaping projects. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Assisting with trenching and backfilling with correct compaction procedures Working with and alongside machines, spotting and assisting with levels Stormwater Pit and pipe works. Paving and concreting repair work Using hand tools, power tools and equipment (Leg rammer, vibe plate, quick cut, jack hammer) General Labouring Duties, wheel barrowing materials, digging and raking To be successful for this role you will need to have the following: Current Working With Children Check (Or able to obtain) Police check within 12 months (Or able to obtain) Any plant operator tickets and experience with Excavator, Loader, Roller, and Skid steer will be highly sought after. Drivers Licence (Required) White Card (Required) Experience on roads, subdivisions, landscaping Pipe Laying Experience (Desirable) Availability to work Monday to Friday with potential for overtime when required. Time management skills. Able to work as part of a team or individually Desire to learn the industry, upskill and progress Be trustworthy, hardworking and take pride in your work.
