Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Okta Specialist to join a global Okta consolidation project and manage day-to-day operations and improvements within our Okta environment. As the Okta subject matter expert (SME), you will be responsible for consolidating multiple regional Okta organisations into a single global Okta organisation, migrating app integrations, directory integrations, policies, users and groups. Additionally, you will oversee business as usual (BAU) operations tasks, process improvements, advising leadership on security best practices and risk management, environment cleanup, knowledge transfer and leading the upgrade to Okta Identity Engine (OIE). Responsibilities: 1. Global Okta Consolidation: Consolidate 8 regional Okta orgs into a single global Okta org; Migrate hundreds of app integrations and AD directory integrations; Migrate and consolidate policies; and Migrate approximately 15,000 users and groups. 2. BAU Operations Tasks: Respond to P1 and P2 incidents involving the Okta environment; Integrate OIDC and SAML apps; and Assist coworkers with Okta tickets and upskill them on troubleshooting and resolution. 3. Process Improvements: Design, document and implement new processes for Okta maintenance tasks, service account management, access certifications and requesting new Okta app integrations. 4. Advising: Advise leaders on security best practices, risk management, feasibility of solutions and improving user experience. 5. Environment Cleanup: Coordinate with Okta product owner and security team to update settings across environments; Identify and document groups and applications for deletion and implement deletion processes; and Resolve Okta task failure errors. 6. Knowledge Transfer: Upskill other Okta administrators through trainings, runbooks, troubleshooting guides and video recordings. 7. Okta Identity Engine Upgrade: Lead the upgrade to Okta Identity Engine, including planning, environment preparation, stakeholder coordination, post-upgrade tasks and testing. Key Skills / Technologies: Expert knowledge of Org2Orgs integrations; OIDC and SAML; PowerShell; Okta APIs / Postman; M365; Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID; Communication skills; Incident response and troubleshooting; Authorisation servers; Okta Workflows; Okta Access Certifications (OIG); Service account management best practices; Architecture design; Change management; Data analysis; Presentation and coaching; and Documentation.
