Job Title : Validation Engineer (Contract Position) Duration: 12 months Location: Perth/Alice Springs/Brisbane (Fly-in-fly-out: 8 days on-site at mine sites, followed by 6 days off) Daily Rate : Competitive day rate plus allowances Responsibilities: Install and conduct testing of prototype mining technology hardware. Collaborate with the Underground Technology Global Integration Testing Team to ensure alignment with schedule, process, and quality objectives. Develop test plans for evaluating software releases and new features on machines. Manage product integration on machines and oversee system deployment to proving grounds and field sites. Execute test cases, including operating underground mining machines, autonomy systems, and technology under evaluation. Identify software and system issues on machines, analyse related subsystems, and assign corrective actions. Develop emergency containment measures as needed. Work with subsystem teams to devise interim and permanent solutions for issues. Install and assess both on-machine and off-machine hardware systems. Key Skills: Proficient in networking and radio communication. Experience with hardware in a loop or real system testing. Familiarity with datalink analysis.
