For more information, visit: https://www.specfast.com.au/ About the Role: Reporting to the Business Manager, as a Sales Representative, you will develop new business opportunities and grow the territory. You will identify trends and customer needs, build a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline by meeting operational targets, develop strategies for new business and assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies that achieve strategic goals. Experience in the construction industry would be highly desirable. This is a permanent full-time position: Monday – Friday within branch hours 7:30am – 4:30pm Your key responsibilities include: Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customised, targeted sales strategies. Building business relationships with current and potential customers. Understanding customer needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential customer questions and follow-up enquiries. Collaborating with the Business Manager to secure, retain, and grow accounts. Meeting with potential clients at required locations. Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective clients and their information. Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential customers; closing sales and working with the customer through the closing process. Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals. Collaborating with the Business Manager on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans. Ad hoc duties as required. For this role, you will need to have: Proven sales experience in the construction and industrial sector with intimate knowledge of the sales process. Ability to maintain effective customer relationships. You are persuasive and results-driven, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets. Possess a professional, energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour. Ability to professionally and confidently communicate at all levels. Ability to work autonomously as well as an effective team member. Current Driver’s Licence with good driving record. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM experience. Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen.
